Kursunlu Waterfall is located in Aksu district of Antalya. The Kursunlu waterfall is visited by millions of domestic and foreign tourists every year. Kursunlu waterfall’s water is poured from an altitude of 18 meters and 7 small ponds are connected to each other with small waterfalls. Kursunlu waterfall is located in a 2 km Canyon. Since it has a unique natural landscape feature in which the samples of healthy forest tissue and rich flora are integrated with interesting water and rock forms, and Kurşunlu waterfall which constitutes its important feature, the 394 hectare section is reserved as a natural park in 1991. The waterfall and picnic area cover an area of 33 hectares. In the picnic area, there are terraces for the landscape view, children’s park, restaurants and hiking areas.

It is the Taurus sediment or Lebanese sediment, which is the type of tree you can mostly see in nature park. This type of cedar trees, which are very few in the world, are located within the National Park area, and greet visitors with their enthusiasm. Among Turkey’s longest living tree species, oak, buttonwood and juniper trees can be seen in nature park, where their lives exceed 1000 years and can reach up to 40-50 meters in length and reach 2 meters in width. The water plants in the National Park; buckthorn, water mint, cane water chandeliers, green algae and water lilies provides a variety of wildlife in the nature park. Animals such as wild boar, woodpecker, veil, fox, rabbit, squirrel, bat, hoopoe, carp, water turtle, snake and lizard are among the important fauna of Nature Park. Kursunlu waterfall, besides its waterfalls, is a place to be seen with the natural beauty of nature and the interesting historical artefacts found in the surroundings. You should also see the historical water mill while you are at the Kursunlu waterfall.

Entrance to Kursunlu National Park is 7 TL. The opening hours of the kursunlu National Park are from 8: 00 a.m. to 8: 00 p.m. It is closed on the first day of Religious holidays. I would advise you to see it during the week because it is visited extensively by local tourists at the weekend. You can use the bus or tramway to go to Kursunlu waterfall. You will have to walk for a few minutes after get off from the Kurşunlu Station with Tramway.You can reach Kursunlu waterfall by using Antalya municipality buses; number 519 or 524. These buses are easily accessible in Meydan Bus Transfer Station in Antalya.
