St. Paul was depicted as a non-Christian person who, at first, even in the Bible, feared the Christians and threatened them and punished them. However, after Jesus appeared to him, a miracle takes place and his eyes become blind. He was chosen to announce the name of Jesus to the other nations, and then his eyes were opened, and he was baptised as a Christian. After this miracle, St. Paul became one of the greatest defenders of Christianity and embarked on long journeys with difficulty. St. Paul, who succeeded in spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ, managed to establish the first Christian communities in the entire Mediterranean region, especially Anatolia. Although St. Paul is not one of the 12 apostles of Jesus, the reason why he was called Anatolian Apostles is that of his service to Christianity. Two thousand years ago, St. Paul walked through these paths that changed the fate of Christianity. He spread the teachings of Jesus without fear, night and day, and even though he knew his fate, he did not give up his path. St Paul stayed in many ancient cities and villages during his journey in Anatolia. We just can not imagine how hard was this trip he made two thousand years ago. Domestic l and foreign tourists coming on holiday to Antalya can visit the St. Paul trail, they can see the many churches St. Paul preached, they can see the cities where St. Paul visited on his journey and they can walk on ancient roads where St. Paul walked.
